Does Meta charge for service messages sent by the company?
Since October 1, 2026, yes, after the allowance. Each number gets 1,000 free service messages per month; after that, each delivered message is charged at the country's utility rate, per the rate card consulted on 10/08/2026. Templates are still charged per delivery by market and category.
What does the calculator simulate?
The tool compares three scenarios: the cost under the rule valid until 09/30/2026, when service messages were free; the cost under the current rule, which charges service messages above the allowance; and the own channel, which takes part of the messages out of the rate.
How does the calculator arrive at the value?
In campaigns, contacts, campaigns, and delivery rate determine the delivered and billed templates. The response rate determines conversations. Under the current rule, the company's messages above the monthly allowance are multiplied by the price per service message. You can also include the monthly cost of the own channel.
Where do the prices come from?
Default values come from Meta's Brazil rate card consulted on 10/08/2026 and are editable. If your provider charges a different price per message, use the one on your invoice. Results are not an OmniSmart proposal.
